Project description
Završnica is a place with great potential, but also with quiet challenges. The project stems from the concrete needs of residents, associations, businesses and visitors who want better orientation, a content-rich offer, a connected local community, and new opportunities for movement, learning and experience. The project is not focused only on infrastructure and equipment, but above all on approaches, content and inclusion. The key problem the project addresses is fragmentation - between nature and visitors, between local supply and demand, and between different generations and groups.

The project develops comprehensive and sustainable tourism infrastructure that connects mobility, sport, education, cultural heritage, local entrepreneurship and digital content. Through an information point, free workshops and market-oriented experiences, it encourages entrepreneurship, local identity and the inclusion of vulnerable groups. It involves a broad partnership and activates the existing capacities of the local community. The project is based on the concrete needs of the area and contributes to revitalizing the rural community, entrepreneurship and sustainable development.

Goals

creating a sustainable family destination that offers a safe, accessible and diverse experience for all generations.

Results

a multi-purpose reception area with a canopy and interior furnishings: an information point with an educational corner featuring an interactive TV screen, a reception point for cycling experiences, workshops and events, sale of local products, and tourist information,
an orientation point with two map boards and 10 QR codes linking to extended digital content,
cycling infrastructure: bike racks, a service station, and an e-bike charging point,
a publicly accessible skills/obstacle course,
a mobile multi-purpose cabin, equipped for running workshops, preparing participants and hosting the club's activities,
installed skill-building play equipment,
5 free workshops held for vulnerable groups, with each target group receiving a tailored workshop,
a multi-purpose mobile cabin on wheels,
two cycling experiences will be developed and delivered as a partly market-based activity (a day program of family cycling in the surrounding area, including the "Solve Čop's Challenge" game, and a longer cycling tour showcasing the Gorenjska region, aimed at adults and families with teenagers),
cycling equipment purchased (e-bikes, children's bikes, helmets, child seats…),
a promotional video and a leaflet will be produced, and an opening event will be organized.
